We invite researchers, academicians, and practitioners to submit their original, unpublished work to The 8th International Conference on Rural Development and Entrepreneurship (ICORE). Under the umbrella of our main theme, ICORE specifically focuses on empowering rural ecosystems through innovation and sustainability. We welcome submissions that address the following sub-themes:

  1. Sustainable Rural Entrepreneurship and Green MSMEs Development
    Exploring the frontiers of eco-business models and green innovation, this track focuses on how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can drive sustainable livelihoods and environmental stewardship in rural settings.
  2. Circular Economy Practices in Local and Community-Based Enterprises
    This theme examines the transition from linear to circular systems within local industries, highlighting waste valorization, resource efficiency, and the growth of rural eco-industries.
  3. Digital Transformation for Sustainable Rural Economies
    A look into the digital future of the countryside. We invite papers on digital platforms, agri-tech advancements, fintech inclusion, and the implementation of “smart village” concepts to bridge the urban-rural divide.
  4. Sustainable Agriculture, Agroindustry, and Food Security Entrepreneurship
    Focusing on the backbone of rural life, this track discusses climate-resilient farming, sustainable value chains, and entrepreneurial solutions to global food security challenges.
  5. Social Entrepreneurship and Inclusive Rural Development
    Addressing the “leave no one behind” principle of the SDGs, this sub-theme explores social enterprises, poverty reduction strategies, women’s empowerment, and the role of community-based organizations.
